PLEASE NOTE - LATELY DUE TO BOWFISH GUIDING KEEPING ME EXTREMELY BUSY I HAVE ONLY MINIMAL TIME AVAILABLE FOR BOW TUNING.
Bowfishing Madness Guide Service is a part of Hobbs Archery. I have over 20 years of professional archery experience. I previously competed in multiple World Competition tournaments both in the ASA and IBO circuit. Today I am excited to be shooting for Obsession Archery! I have over 60 first place wins and over 75 top five place wins. Due to this and due to the passion that I have for archery I have acquired a plethora of knowledge on bow tuning and archery in general.
I am a perfectionist. Which usually is good for you yet bad for me. That means I will not 'half-way' perform any work on your archery equipment. It will be done right! Your bow will be tuned to its utmost potential when it leaves my shop. More than once I have spent 4+ hours tuning one bow in order to get the best performance out of it.
I utilize the latest in technology equipment. My shop is equipped with a Hooter Shooter bow shooting machine that allows me to perform absolute precise work on your bow. I use a decibel meter to acquire the noise level of your bow. I use by far the best bow press on the market today, the LAST CHANCE ARCHERY bow press, to save time and this press protects your bow from any damage when the bow is being pressed. I have customers that travel from neighboring states to have me tune their bow and purchase equipment. These clients are willing to travel this distance because they have seen my work ethics and they have witnessed my work. I am good at what I do and they know that honesty is my only policy.
Feel free to email me anytime with your archery questions.
When time allows I thoroughly enjoy testing archery equipment. I have performed numerous tests on broadheads in an effort to inform you of the broadheads that work. When choosing a broadhead I look for accuracy at 80+ yards meaning the broadheads must hit with field points without any additional tuning to the bow.
My best deer to date with bow is my Illinois 8 point that had a gross score of 153 3/8 with a net score of 150 1/8.
In an effort to keep up with the latest and greatest in the archery world we always try to attend the Archery Trade Association annual trade show. While at the ATA show I always walk away with new friends and an insight on the latest equipment. Below are just a few friends that I always enjoy seeing at the ATA show.
